Really Useful Unicode – Symbols, Dingbats, Wingdings, Webdings in Symbola font

Not all Unicode characters are available in every font. Most are available in Symbola which can be downloaded here. Code2000, Code2001, Code2002 is a family of fonts which display many Unicode Characters. See Code2000.
This page loads slowly because it is displaying several characters in Symbola Font. I could create a subset of the font which would load much faster. Font-Squirrel provides a method to do that, but the subset I’m displaying is not one of their chosen subsets. So, it may not be doable with Font-Squirrel or it may just take more work. To speed up the display of those page for those few who have Symbola Font installed, I used the local attribute on the following CSS statement.

font-family: "Symbola";
src: local('Symbola'), url(Symbola.ttf);
}

You may want to speed up the display of Symbola Unicode characters by making images of them instead.

This rest of this page will load slowly (5 seconds or so), unless you have the Symbola font installed on your computer. Please be patient.
